Price, specification, and terms are subject to change without notice. Voltaire Power is not responsible for errors in typography and/or photography. All parts come with original manufacturer warranty and technical support is handled by the respective manufacturers. Customer pays return shipping on all services. Voltaire Power reserves the right to refuse service to anyone.
Voltaire Power (VP hereafter) accepts the following Payment Methods:
- Prepaid Company Check, Personal Check, Cashier Check or Money Order
(Note: All Prepaid Orders will take longer to process due to the need for all checks to be cleared, including Cashier’s Check due to the existence of fraudulent checks.)

Payment Terms Orders: An order is not binding upon VP until it is accepted; VP must receive payment before it will accept an order. Payment for product(s) ordered is due prior to shipment. Customer can make payment by credit card, or some other method prearranged with VP. You agree to pay the amount(s) due as specified on the invoice, and you agree to pay interest on all past-due sums at a rate of 1.5% per month or the highest rate allowed by law, whichever is greater.
By accepting delivery of any product delivered from the VP (“WorkersCollege.com Corp.”), you (“Customer”) agree to be bound by the terms and conditions listed below. You and VP agree that the following terms and conditions are the exclusive terms governing the sales transaction between Customer and VP. Any attempt to alter, supplement, modify or amend these terms and conditions by the Customer will be considered a material alteration of this agreement and, therefore, are null and void. In addition, these terms and conditions are subject to change at any time, without prior written notice. Therefore, please check these terms and conditions carefully each time you place an order with or accept delivery of any goods from VP.
You can expect your order to be processed within approximately two business days. Expected ship times vary depending on stock availability. If you need an item by a certain date please ask your sales person to check on the expected ship date. In most cases expected ship dates for all items will be emailed to you within 48 hours of the time that your order is processed. Tracking information will also be emailed to you once your items ship.
Checkout by clicking the “Outside the U.S.?” button or at checkout, choose your international destination from the country drop down menu. Once you click the button or select your country and attempt to checkout, you will then be automatically transferred to a page where you will be provided with international shipping costs as well as duties and taxes for your shipment.
Upon completion of your order, your credit card will be charged for the entire purchase. We will ship the goods to the third party distribution facility where they will process the order and transport the goods to your international address. There are no additional fees or registration processes with this service.
Any items that are unavailable will be placed on back order, and the remainder of your order will be shipped at our discretion. Please check our web site for the back ordered item’s estimated time of arrival. Please note that these dates are “estimates” and not guaranteed to arrive on that date.
VP will do everything possible to keep you informed of your order via e-mail. Your tracking number will be emailed to you once the item is shipped. You may also check online status page for live updates.
Security is our number one priority. All on-line transactions are sent through our secure server and encrypted with 128-bit technology. Once the information is received through the internet, trusted authorized employees will process your payment, and make sure that your information is handled with the highest level of security.
VP respects your privacy. We will not under any circumstances sell or release your information to anyone without a court order or legal authority. All of the information obtained from our web site will be used for internal purposes only.
You may change your order for standard in stock items, provided that your order has not yet been processed. As noted in a separate paragraph, special orders cannot be changed once we receive your order acknowledgement. If your order has been processed we have the right to charge a 5% fee to change the order. If items have shipped the normal restock fee may apply. Please contact your sales person direct with any changes to be made and please have your order number available.
To cancel your order for standard in stock items, please call during our normal business hours and speak with your sales representative or someone in our customer support department. Provided your order has not yet been processed, and your credit card has not been charged there is no fee. As noted in a separate paragraph, special orders cannot be cancelled once we receive your order acknowledgment. If your order has already been processed and your card was charged, there is a 5% cancellation fee deducted from your refund. If any portion of your order has shipped, a 15% restocking fee will be deducted from your refund. The refund will occur within 48 hours of the receipt of the cancellation or the return of all products that have shipped. Many of our products are custom built, built to order or special ordered items. These items include but are not limited to power panels, battery boxes, many Solar Converter products, some trackers, many Uni-rac and Ironridge products, some AET products, many Direct Power and Water products, many Solectria products, and Surette batteries. If you need to cancel an order for any of these products there is a cancellation fee even if the item has not shipped. The cancellation fee will vary depending on the manufacturer but may be as much as 30% of the cost of the item. This fee is the same fee that manufacturers pass onto us for canceling the order.
VP product descriptions are not designed or intended to replace your personal product knowledge, experience and/or research or that of a professional installer or licensed electrician.
VP is not a forum for product reviews. VP is a private site that conducts the business of selling renewable energy related products and as such, any specifications and information posted by VP regarding products for sale must be factual. However, customer comments in regards to their experience with said products are the opinions of the user. The customer opinion reviews are used at the discretion of VP as a marketing device for positive and constructive ways to share the benefit of the product. It is not used as a source for negative commentary as we cannot endorse the validity of any negative comment. Therefore, the VP site is moderated to remove any unproven biased negative comments. It is not the intention of VP to mislead any customer and therefore all purchase decisions should not be solely based on the product review.
Return Policy: Standard in stock merchandise purchased through VP may be returned within 30 days of the receipt of the product or 60 days if you are a Preferred Installer. You will receive a refund or credit towards your account, provided the merchandise is returned in the original packaging in new and resalable condition with the original blank warranty cards, manuals, and all accessories.
If any component of the returned product is missing, if there is damage or the product has been used, the return procedure is breached and VP may reject the return or may choose to impose additional charges for replacement of the missing component. A 15% restock fee will be charged for all returns unless you are a Preferred Installer. As noted in a separate paragraph, Special Orders, custom built, built to order or special ordered items, are non-returnable. Unless an error was made by VP, shipping charges are not refundable. Before returning items, it is necessary to obtain an RMA # for your return. You can request and RMA # by:

Once you have been instructed where to return the item you are responsible for shipping charges back to that address. Once issued, RMA numbers are valid for 15 days from the date issued and items must be received in that time frame. Please reference this number in a clear location on the outside of the package when returning product. The customer shall be responsible for the return of any unused product and agrees to use only reputable carriers capable of providing proof of delivery and insurance for the value of the shipment.
- Prices quoted for merchandise may not include any applicable state or local taxes. We ship from a variety of locations, individual States of the U.S. or Provinces of Canada may be subject to applicable state or goods taxes unless the buyer can provide a valid resale or tax exempt certificate.
- VP is a distributor only. Products sold by VP are not manufactured by VP therefore we do not warranty any of the products we sell. Most items that we sell are covered by the original manufacturer’s warranty, service, or support policy (if any). In the event that there is a technical problem that occurs with your product upon receipt or installation of your product we urge you to contact the manufacturer directly. The customer shall be responsible for the return of any defective product and agrees to use only reputable carriers capable of providing proof of delivery and insurance for the value of the shipment.
- VP bears no responsibility in sending a replacement item to the customer in the event that they have received a defective product. If you receive a defective unit, contact the manufacturer and they will typically repair or replace the product.

Cancellation of workshops:
Workshop enrollment is on a first-come, first-served basis, as workshop size is limited. To reserve a space please pay the entire tuition upon sign-up. Workshops are subject to cancellation due to low enrollment, and you will be notified in advance if a class you had previously enrolled in is cancelled.
If you cancel prior to 30 days before the workshop start date, 50% of your total tuition is non-refundable, plus the cost of any materials sent to you. If you cancel within 30 days of the beginning of the workshop, your entire tuition is non-refundable. Please inform us in writing of your cancellation by using our online email form.
DMCA – Notification of Possible Copyright Infringement: VP will respond expeditiously to any and all notices of copyright infringement that comply with applicable law. If you have a copyright that you believe has been infringed upon by any materials accessible on or from VP website, you may request removal of those materials. Please submit written notification to our Copyright Agent whose information is available below. In accordance with the Online Copyright Infringement Liability Limitation Act of the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. §512) (“DMCA”), the written notice (the “DMCA Notice”) must include substantially the following:
- an electronic or physical signature of the person authorized to act on behalf of the owner of the copyright’s interests.
- a description of the copyrighted work that you claim has been infringed, including the URL (i.e., web page address) of the location where the copyrighted work exists or a copy of the copyrighted work.
- identification of the URL or other specific location on the Service where the material that you claim is infringing is located.
- your address, telephone number, and email address.
- a statement that you have a good faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- a statement by you, made under penalty of perjury, that the above information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the copyright owner’s behalf.
